We offer diabetic assessments, recommended every 6-12 months for those with the condition. 

Foot examination: A thorough examination of the feet, looking for any signs of ulcers, infections, calluses, corns, or other potential issues.

3D foot scan: If necessary we take a 3D scan, to analyse the pressure points on your feet to identify areas of high pressure that could lead to ulceration in the future. 

Doppler ultrasound: This is performed to evaluate blood circulation by listening to pulses in the feet. It helps determine if diabetes is affecting blood flow.

Neurological assessment: We test nerve function in the feet to ensure proper sensation and function, as diabetes can impair nerve function.

Discussion of foot care: Your specialist will provide advice on proper foot care practices, including hygiene, nail care, footwear, and prevention strategies.

Customised insoles: If necessary, our specialist might recommend or create custom insoles to alleviate pressure on specific areas and prevent complications.

Risk assessment: We’ll evaluate the individual's risk of developing foot complications based on factors like diabetes management, overall health, and lifestyle.

Education: We’ll provide information on the importance of foot care, self-examination, and potential signs to watch out for.

Report for GP: Upon request, we can provide a detailed report for your general practitioner.
